The list of the shortlisted candidates for the Nigeria Police Force for 2023 is finally out!

This page will guide you on how to check your name on the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) portal in the list of shortlisted candidates for 2023.

The Nigeria Police Force recruitment 2023 is part of the planned recruitment of 40,000 constables over a four-year period as directed by the President, Major General, Muhammadu Buhari (retd.). 

Training activities are currently ongoing in all NPF training institutions for the first batch of 10,000 recruits out of the 40,000 approved by the President. And now arrangements are being made for the commencement of the next batch of 10,000 constables starting with a screening exercise for the shortlisted candidates.

How to Check Nigeria Police Shortlisted Candidates

Candidates who applied and completed the NPF recruitment 2023 physical credential screening exercise should regularly check-in to the official recruitment page of the NPF via www.policerecruitment.gov.ng/.

Or regularly check their emails for updates from the Police Force to know if their names have been shortlisted for the Nigeria Police shortlist 2023.

Nigeria Police Shortlisted Candidates CBAT Documents Requirements

  • National Identity Number (i.e NIN)
  • Put on the recommended face mask
  • Original and photocopies of your O’Level results
  • Birth certificate/Age declaration/Affidavit
  • Local government identification certificate/certificate of origin
  • Four recent passports
  • A print-out of the submission confirmation page
  • Filled guarantor’s form
  • Pair of white T-shirt and shorts

Items to Take Along for the Physical Screening

For the physical screening, applicants are required to go along with the necessary documents:

  • Original copies of all educational certificates 
  • Original copies of certificates of birth and certificates of state of origin

Note: all applicants must know the day indicated in the invitation sent to them. This is the only day they are to be present at the venue.

Applicants should also be careful not to fall prey to scammers who require money to offer the recruitment shortlist as this is not genuine or directly from the Nigeria Police Force.

The Next Stage After the Shortlisted Candidates is Released

The next stage of the 2023/2024 application for the Nigeria Police Force recruitment will commence as soon as the list is out.
