The BIU school fees don’t vary much from department to department. However, there are some courses with relatively higher fees.

However, the BIU Acceptance fee is N50,000 Naira irrespective of your course.

Admission information and other charges 

  • A non-refundable acceptance fee of N50,000 payable to Fidelity bank (BIU Collections A/C 4150022201) or First Bank (BIU Collections A/C 2022815280 or Zenith (BIU Collections A/C 1014109363) must be paid upon admission offer into the school.
  • Students transferring from other Faculties to the Faculty of law (200 level) are to pay 100 level law school fees. 
  • Students are to print the transaction I.D and pay through any of the under-listed Banks using the Etranzact or Remita platform.
  • All students must pay at least 60% of the sessional fees before registration.
  • Payment is not effective without due registration at both the ICT Unit and the Financial Services office.
  • Normal Registration is within 2 weeks of resumption. Late registration attracts a penalty of N25,000.
  • Accommodation fees are N50,000.00, N75,000.00, N100,000, N175,000.00 for the Faculty of Law and Social & Management Science Faculties respectively. Accommodation for other faculties is N100,000 FLAT.

BIU Admission Requirements for UTME Candidates

  • Candidates must have reached the age of 16.
  • Candidates must have at least 6 (six) “Cs (Credits)” grades in their O’level result (s) including English Language, Mathematics and three other subjects related to their course of study in not more than one sitting.
  • Candidates must score at least 180 in the JAMB UTME examination
  • Candidates must sit for the BIU post UTME screening examination and pass the cut-off marks.
  • Candidates must choose the correct subject combination for their courses.

BIU Admission Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates 

  • Candidates must have at least 5 Credits grades in their O’level result (s) including English Language, Mathematics and three other subjects related to their course of study in not more than one sitting.
  • Candidates must have also reached the age of 16.
  • Candidates are expected to get JAMB Directly entry form from JAMB to apply.
  • Candidates should have any of the following certificates: OND, ND, NCE, IJMB, Cambridge A level, BSc, HND, ICAN.
